Seminar: Developing the Project Pipeline for EU Structural Funds

The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) is pleased to announce a forthcoming seminar on “Developing the Project Pipeline for EU Structural Funds”. This seminar will take place on 16-17 October 2006 in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and will be conducted in English.

Objectives
The aim of the seminar is to help Managing Authorities and potential project managers and project partners with the development of good projects and successful programmes. The seminar looks at the nature of programmes and the range of project possibilities, developing project ideas, designing good projects, building partnerships and securing finance, ex-ante appraisal techniques and the process of getting your project approved. We also consider project management and monitoring responsibilities.

Target group
The seminar is aimed at economic actors in the Structural Funds project process, including national, regional and local officials; agencies with a project development role, such as regional development agencies; educational and training establishments, and other local partners, including NGOs and community associations.
