Brexit and the election of Donald Trump are likely to generate a strong impact on EU trade policy. The EU will have to fundamentally rethink the nature of its trade relations with these two major countries. At the same time, China’s newly acquired status as a market economy and the current state of play at the WTO raises serious challenges. After this seminar, you will:
  • understand the processes and instruments of EU trade policy;
  • be aware of the possible consequences of current developments for EU trade policy and for stakeholders;
  • be better equipped to help your administration or organisation to take appropriate decisions on issues related to EU trade policy.

The detailed programme of this seminar will be available soon.
