Did you know that the top three required skills on how to be effective in the European arena are: presentation- and debating techniques, negotiation skills, and insight in and understanding of cultural differences? This training is especially designed to optimize your skills and to help you be more effective in the European arena.

The course
Based on the outcome of a questionnaire by European institutions, you will optimize your presentation, debating and negotiation skills. The course will combine theoretical aspects about negotiations, presentation techniques and cultural differences together with skills training in which you will put theory in practice: learning by doing to maximize the learning effect.

Afterwards, you will have optimized your skills to represent your interest with and in the EU institutions.

This course is based on a mandatory training for new staff of the permanent representations in Brussels and is a great opportunity to train your skills in a European environment:

  • Learn how to be more convincing in debates;
  • Benefit from tips and tricks to improve your presentation skills;
  • Learn how to lobby more effectively;
  • Negotiate with an optimal outcome;
  • Enhance your knowledge on how to best manage cultural differences.

Do you want to present yourself and your interests in the best way in the European arena? Register now, train your skills and benefit!

Who will benefit most?

This course is especially designed for those who are active in the European arena and who are in frequent contact with the European institutions.

The detailed programme of this seminar will be available soon.
